Today we went to Brookfield Zoo's "Boo at the Zoo" for the first time. It was a little windy and chilly, but ok when the sun came out. The event made the zoo a little too busy for us, but what can you expect, right? Josh and Ryan were nice and warm in their giraffe costumes, and we learned Hannah needs to bundle up a little more under her safari jacket for trick or treating on Halloween. We met the Hoppers there and Kelly's sister and fam, but didn't get to spend a whole lot of time with them as it was all a little crowded. It was nice to see everybody though. The kids went through a hay maze, and got to see the lion, polar bears, and a big brown bear too. We went in the Children's Zoo area to see the raccoon, llamas, and a cow. The kids each got a treat bag at the end, but I've yet to see what's in them as it was obvious there was no candy!
