I know it seems like I should've gotten the kids out in the snow to play sooner than just now, but hey, at least I did it, right? Those of you who know me, know that the snow, cold, and winter are not my favorite things. It was a balmy 17 degrees today, so I thought, why not? We did have fun tho'. At least it was sunny. Check out some pics and a video...

Party #2 in Snowy Michigan
Despite the excessive amount of snow and cold temps, we were able to get out to celebrate Josh and Ryan's birthday with a little party in Michigan. At first it seemed like it wasn't going to happen as the snow kept falling and falling and falling...but we had a great turnout and lots of fun. We ate cake, opened presents, played with our laptops and webcams, and then ate again! Thanks to all for coming, we appreciated it. Also, big thanks to Dad for picking up and taking home the grandparents, and to mom and dad for letting us use their party locale (again!)

Josh and Ryan are 2 years old!!
It's official, the boys turned 2. That means Pat and I survived 2 years with twins as well as Hannah! Whew! We had Pat's mom and dad and the kids' Uncle Jim and Aunt Rachel over for dinner and cake tonight. It was a really nice evening and the kids had a blast.
We had some Christmas presents left to exchange and of course the birthday loot! (pirate theme) I experimented with a pirate hat cake and Josh, Han, and Ryan thought it was pretty cool. Hannah mostly wanted to eat the chocolate coins around it! Josh was sooo excited to open all his Mickey things from Grandma and Grandpa Boyle, and Ryan was equally excited to see all his Thomas stuff. They loved all their Little People stuff from Aunt Rach and Uncle Jim too. I loved the clothes, of course...but that's my job.
Happy Birthday Josh and Ryan!!
