Christmas, Christmas, and more Christmas!

We are about at the end of our Christmas celebrations...it has been a whirlwind of food, family, friends and fun this year. We went to Palos for an early Christmas, Michigan for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, then came back and celebrated our Kelly Family Christmas, and soon it will be the boys' birthday to celebrate...whew! Here are some pics to mark the occasions!

Our first gingerbread house and more...

Hannah and I made our first gingerbread house ever (and from scratch)! It was a lot of fun. Hannah was a superstar decorating, making a window, and adding her own creative touches. I also added a pic of our tree this year, the boys in front of it, and Josh enjoying the Hallmark snowmen that bring joy to the kids and misery to the adults every year! :)

So, I'm a bit behind on postings and pics since we're coming up on Thanksgiving now and I'm just posting Halloween! Oh well...Anyway...Halloween was really fun this year because all the kids could walk around and trick-or-treat together. It took each one of them a little time to warm up to knocking on strangers' doors and asking for candy, but after maybe two houses they were all pros at it and wanted more and more. Hannah was dressed as a safari girl and the boys were giraffes for her safari :)
